My trips
Saved trips
A saved trip keeps the settings that produced it, not just the route. "View" shows the route exactly as you saved it. "Re-run with fresh data" searches again with today's schedules, so it can come back different.

How it works
You give this app a starting point, a departure and return date, and which leagues you care about. It pulls real schedules, calculates real drive times between every venue involved, and figures out the best combination of games you could actually attend — not a wish list, a route you could really drive.
Every game locks its own order
Every game has a real start time, so the order you'd hit stops in is already fixed by the calendar. This app isn't rearranging games into a nicer-looking sequence — it's deciding which games, out of everything available, are actually possible and worth including.
Plan works for anyone
You don't need an account to search for a trip — Plan and this page both work the moment you load the app. Your defaults and the Travel log work without one too; sign in only if you want them remembered the next time you visit. Saving trips is the one thing that needs an account, since a saved trip has to live somewhere. Sign in or create an account from the header above — just a username and password, nothing else required.
Stage 1: What has to be true
Before anything gets ranked, a game has to actually be reachable. These aren't preferences — if a leg fails any of these, that combination of games is off the table entirely, no matter how good it would otherwise look.
Stage 2: How we pick the best route
Once a combination of games is genuinely possible, it competes with every other possible combination on value. Roughly, on a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 weighed extremely heavily:
For all practical purposes, a requirement. If it's genuinely possible to fit, it gets fit — even at the cost of a less tidy-looking route otherwise. A guaranteed city or venue needs one game; once it has one, its other games count like any other.
Your Goal — a league or two, your favorite teams, or states you haven't been to — makes matching games count five times as much as an ordinary one. It leans the trip toward them without ever removing the rest.
Counts double in every search, so it wins out over an ordinary game when we're forced to pick between them — a thumb on the scale, not a demand. It stacks with your Goal.
The baseline. Every real game you can genuinely make it to counts toward a better trip — more of these is what the app maximizes by default.
Every setting, explained
What each field in the planner actually controls.
Basics
- Starting from / ending at
- Where you leave from, and — only on a One way trip — where you end up instead of driving back to the start. Your Home city, from Your defaults, fills in Starting from.
- My dates are flexible
- Off, you give an exact departure and return. On, you give the earliest and latest day you could leave plus a trip length, and we try every departure day in that window and keep the best trip.
- Depart / return date and time
- Your exact departure moment and the exact moment you need to be back (or, one-way, arrived) by — precise to the minute, not just the day.
- Weekend getaway
- A quick fill for a short trip: a 2-day window, at most 3 hours of driving a day, and Straight shot. Everything it sets stays fully editable afterward.
- Leagues to include
- Which sports and leagues are in play at all. Nothing outside this list is ever considered.
- Goal
- What you most want from the trip: the most games, games in a league or two, your favorite teams, new states or provinces, or your bucket list. A goal makes matching games count for more (see the scale above) without removing anything else. Bucket list fills in Must include for you with the cities, teams and venues you haven't visited yet.
- Trip style
- How far the route can double back on itself — Straight shot (no backtracking), Scenic route (a little slack for a worthwhile detour), or Chase everything (no shape limit at all).
Must include
- Specific games
- Up to 4 specific games. Each is guaranteed to be in your route whenever it's genuinely possible to fit it in.
- Cities
- The same guarantee, by city instead of one specific game — the app picks which game there, and one is enough. Add the state (Columbia, SC) to be exact.
- Venues
- The same guarantee, by venue — a game at that ballpark, arena or stadium.
More options
- Max games
- A hard ceiling on how many games the route can include, for when you want a shorter trip even though more games would fit.
- Most driving per day
- How much driving you're willing to do in a single calendar day. A leg longer than this gets split across multiple days instead of being refused outright. Your Usual Driving per Day, from Your defaults, fills it in.
- First game near my starting location
- Requires your first stop to be within 30 minutes of where you start. Skips the usual "can you make it in time" math for just that one leg — it only checks closeness.
- Skip preseason / ranked matchups only / indoor venues only
- Game filters for this trip. Preseason drops exhibitions, ranked keeps games with a top-25 college team, and indoor keeps venues we know are covered.
- Same team more than once?
- Whether the same team can appear twice on one trip. "Only for my favorite teams" relaxes this rule just for teams you've flagged as favorites.
The things that stay true from trip to trip live under Your defaults on Plan, no account needed:
About you
- Home city / usual driving per day
- Where you usually start from, and how much driving you usually want in a day. Each one fills in its field on the form, and you can change it there for a single trip.
- Able to travel to Canada
- Unchecked, only games in the U.S. are considered.
- Favorite teams
- Their games count double in every search, so they turn up more often. To chase them, pick My favorite teams as the Goal.
Avoid
- Teams to avoid / cities to avoid
- Dropped from consideration before anything else runs. Add the state to a city to avoid just that one. A Must-See pick or a guaranteed city or venue isn't silently vetoed by an unrelated entry here — those guarantees always win if there's a conflict.

Your route
Drive times are estimates and don’t account for traffic.
As scheduled at the time of this search — a league between seasons, or a playoff picture not yet set, simply won’t have games here yet.
Nine leagues, pro and college, checked at once — then put on the map.
Keep what you plan.
